Okanagan Wine Country
Tour the vineyards by day, then come home to a private backyard with a hot tub and sauna.
Why Kelowna
Kelowna sits in the middle of the Okanagan Valley, one of Canada's best-known wine regions. Within a short drive of The Grand Oasis you can taste at estates on both sides of the lake, so a group can build a full day of tastings without spending it in the car.
The best way to do it is a private chauffeured tour, so everyone can enjoy the tastings and nobody has to drive.

Nearby wineries
Tantalus & Summerhill (about 10–15 min): east-side favourites, Tantalus for Riesling and Summerhill for organic bubbles and views. These are the closest and make an easy half-day loop.
Quails' Gate & CedarCreek (about 15–20 min): two much-loved estates known for Pinot Noir, patios and farm-to-table dining. Old Vines at Quails' Gate and Home Block at CedarCreek are worth booking for dinner.
Mission Hill Family Estate (about 20 min): the valley's showpiece, with its bell tower and terrace over the lake. Book the tasting and terrace lunch in advance.
The Vibrant Vine & Frind (about 10–25 min): fun options for groups, from the 3D-glasses tasting room to a lakefront estate.
Back at the house
After the tastings, the backyard takes over. Cook dinner in the covered outdoor kitchen, eat under the pergola, and finish in the covered hot tub or the cedar sauna, both open year round. From May 1 to September 30 the heated pool is open too.
Six bedrooms sleep up to 10, with two full kitchens and two laundry rooms across two levels, so couples and families travelling together each get their own space.
Plan your tasting day
Pick three or four wineries at most, and book tastings and lunch ahead in summer and harvest season, when the most popular estates fill up. Start on one side of the lake and work your way around rather than criss-crossing the bridge. Pack water and snacks, and leave room for a long lunch on a terrace, which is half the reason to come.
If you would rather stay in for dinner, pick up local cheese, charcuterie and a few bottles on the way home and cook in the outdoor kitchen. With two full kitchens, a big group can prepare a proper meal without getting in each other's way.
Book direct
Booking direct gets you the best available rate and a host who knows the valley. Tell Stuart your dates and the kind of wineries you like, and he can suggest a route and point you to local tour operators.
When to come
Summer brings long patio days and the pool. Fall is harvest season and many people's favourite time to taste. Winter is quieter at the wineries, with Big White Ski Resort about an hour away, and spring brings the blossoms back to the valley.
