Kelowna · Old Glenmore
A private backyard resort five minutes from downtown — the whole thing is yours.
Why this backyard
Most Kelowna rentals that advertise a pool mean a small plunge pool or a shared complex. At The Grand Oasis the pool is the centrepiece: a brand-new 40 by 20 foot heated pool with night light themes, fenced in a private yard that belongs only to your group for the whole stay.
Around it sits everything you need to spend a full day without leaving home. There is a covered hot tub that seats six, a custom cedar HUUM sauna, a cold plunge for contrast therapy, a covered pergola deck with a 65-inch outdoor TV, and an outdoor kitchen with a six-burner BBQ. A turf lawn gives kids room to run while the adults stay in the shade.

Season by season
The heated pool is open from May 1 to September 30. Okanagan summers are hot and dry, which is exactly when you want it, and the long evenings mean you can swim well after dinner under the pool lights.
Outside that window the pool is closed, but the rest of the spa side of the yard keeps going. The covered hot tub, the cedar sauna and the cold plunge run year round, so a fall wine weekend or a winter ski trip still ends with a soak and a sauna under the stars.
Inside the house
Six private bedrooms are split across two levels, each with its own full kitchen and its own laundry room. Upstairs is The Oasis Retreat — Sage Retreat, The Cove and the Horizon Suite. Downstairs is The Passport Collection — The Wanderer's Twin, The Monaco Room and The Voyager's Nook. Families and friend groups can spread out instead of sharing one hallway.
There is an in-home gym, table tennis and games, a dedicated workspace and fast wifi for anyone who needs to check in with the office between swims.
A day at the house
Mornings start slowly: coffee on the covered patio while the kids are already in the water. By midday the pergola gives you shade, the outdoor TV has the game on, and someone is on the BBQ. Late afternoon is the best time for the sauna and a cold plunge, and once the sun drops behind the hills the pool lights come on and the hot tub fills up.
Because the whole backyard is private, there is no booking a pool time, no sharing loungers with strangers and no closing hour set by a building manager. Please keep to quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am out of respect for the neighbours.
Book direct
The Grand Oasis is also listed on Airbnb, but booking direct with your host avoids platform booking fees and gives you a real person to talk to about dates, group size and anything you need for your stay. Summer weekends with the pool open fill up first, so send your dates early if you are planning a July or August trip.
Location
The house sits in Old Glenmore, a quiet residential pocket of central Kelowna. Downtown, City Park and Hot Sands Beach are about five minutes away, and wineries such as Tantalus and Summerhill are roughly 10 to 15 minutes. You get a resort-style backyard without giving up an easy drive to everything else the Okanagan offers.
